Question
ive been looking at the titleist scotty cameron studio putter is there any one with it that would tell me if its worth the money?
Answered by GC
any scotty cameron is worth the money if you have it, theyre all beautifully weighted, good roll, and looks are stunning.

good luck

Answered by Rizr N
Well, I have used the Titleist Scotty Cameron putters for quite a while already. I will say – it is pricey, but Scotty Cameron is the best brand for putters for a good reason. The designs are simple, but the weight distribution, feel, and consistency is exceptional. It’s also quite forgiving as well. But, my favorite putter is the Taylormade Rossa Monza Spider or Monza Itsy Bitsy Spider. It is cheaper, gives a great performance as well, is stylish, and is (by far) more forgiving. Since I’m not in the PGA, I don’t think there is a huge difference in performance – just the Spider is more forgiving. The Spider shouldn’t cost you many strokes on the green by itself – that only can happen to Pro Tour players! So, the Spider is cheaper and gives a similar performance.

yea there worth it…. i like the detour the best but there all good
Answered by Piko
I am currently using the studio putter.
I can say it does help as it is forgiving.
Sometime, It’s about the “Singer” not the “Song”
It is not worth the money if you are a beginner.

Is it worth it to you? only you can make that determination. Personally, I love mine and it was worth every penny
Question
Any comment on if the Scotty Cameron putter putts best with a Titleist ball?

I am using the CIRCA ’62 No. 2

Answered by brettfavre4life
Absolutely not. The difference is if you prefer the feel of the ball. Pro Vi will be softer than a Dunlop Loco. A harder ball will roll a little more. It’s all about what you prefer.
Answered by toughnottobeacynic
It’s merely a matter of preference. Most people don’t putt with a Scotty Cameron putter or a Titleist ball.
Answered by solara437
Does he indeed. !!!
Answered by gizmodiamond
No. It’s all about the feel you have . Scotty putters are nice but very expensive if you ask me , there’s other putters that will do the same if not better . Try different brands of putters & balls until they feel right for you , I tend to hit my putter hard so I hit a softer ball , if you hit yours soft go with a hard ball . It’s all about the feel you want . You want a ball that works for you on the tee box & greens I’ve tried so many diffrant balls I hit pinnical hot shots , distance off the tee , soft on the green . Play with 1 brand don’t dig in your bag and grab any that’s not going to help you because 1 may be soft the other hard .

TaylorMade Men’s r7 Draw Fairway #3 Wood

TaylorMade continues its long-running standard of excellence with the men’s r7 Draw fairway 3-wood. The fairway wood is distinguished by the company’s Draw-Weighted Technology, which concentrates the weight in the back heel area, thereby encouraging a faster clubface rotation through impact to promote a right-to-left ball flight. The r7 Draw is specifically designed for players who need as much help as they can get to hit the ball straighter, higher, and longer, particularly players looking to gain extra distance by turning their chronic fades into a draw. The 3-wood also accommodates golfers who want to set themselves up with shorter approach shots by turning a severe banana ball into a manageable fade. The Draw-Weighted Technology works by moving the clubhead’s CG closer to the shaft. This speeds the rotation of the clubhead during the forward swing in the same way that a spinning figure skater speeds the rotation of her body by pulling her arms inward.

The r7 Draw is distinguished by TaylorMade’s Draw-Weighted Technology, which concentrates the weight in the back heel area

As a result, the golfer has an easier time squaring the clubface at impact, thereby imparting either a draw spin or reduced slice spin. The r7 Draw 3-wood also includes a 55-gram RE*AX soft-tipped graphite shaft that feels great and promotes a high launch angle for increased distance. As with all of the latest TaylorMade clubs, the 3-wood is backed by a two-year warranty.

I would go to a professional and try stuff out to see which would best suit me

I have tried a R7 and couldn’t hit it (only scoring 30/100 on a machine) A Nicklous driver was giving me 80/100

I have only had a cheap putter, so again I can’t say

Ok enough rubbish, I would go to my American Golf and have everything fitted to me.

I believe that you can have the serial number checked through Titleist or Scotty Cameron. You can also send products in to be checked by them. The following link might help:

Hope that helps,

I use TaylorMade Rossa Spider (agsi) and like it.

  2. unoriginalnamecreator says:

Any putter is worth the money if you have the money to spend and it gets the ball in the hole. A couple years ago, I went to Golf Galaxy and spent hours trying just about every putter they had. I walked out with a Yes! Tracey because I hit that one better than any of the others, including all of the Camerons. That being said, I love the new squarebacks and will probably get one. The key is to try every putter you can, you may be surprised by the results.

  3. Lloyd Bonafied says:

I love scotty camerons they are some of the best feeling putter on the market….the only problem I have is…they haven’t made a good mallet head in a while….the ones they release for mass production suck….Most of the good putters are very rare….

  4. legalbgl says:

    awesome putter! worth the money!

  5. Eventguy says:

Scotty Cameron putters are really good, I am also looking at Newport 2 but am also comparing this with the odyssey black series.

So far i am trying them both and will do the same this weekend and then probably pick one of these.

But in the end Putter is a personal decision and its not the putter (club) that matters its the PUTTER (you) that does and you can only get better with practice.
