only one problem i noticed the comment about try at your local shop but it’s to buy online any advice

thanks

It’s an awesome club…Try it out at your local golf store before you buy it.

I think you should definitely get a regular flex shaft, not stiff. If your swing speed is in the high 90′s, which I don’t think your quite there yet, you should get a regular. I think the difference in the shafts will affect your game a lot.
Answered by Jake
I don’t think that I would get the stiff shaft, I am 15 and I am still using a regular flex. It is a pretty good club, but it is on the older side. I think it would be a good choice except for the regular flex.
Answered by brenda st
don’t do it wast of money you would be far better off going to any golf shop or driving range and buying a used driver
Answered by MLBfreek35
Even if you’re buying online, you can go to the shop and tell them you’re serious about buying it so they let you give it a swing and then when you leave tell them you want some time to think about it before purchasing

I’m honestly surprised. Ever try reflective tape on the sole? Maybe the “eye” needs a little help (or it’s dirty or faulty). If not, with none of those working, I can’t think of any that would.
Answered by Pixie Chick
I’d heard of the Optishot and read a lot of reviews, visited their URL and not once did I see any one questioning driver compatibility, nor was their any mention of this at the site. I saw your question and looked at your list and it’s pretty significant. I was actually thinking of purchasing this simulator. I have 3 different drivers Ping G10, Ping Rapture V2, Krank Rage, my son has the Callaway Diablo Edge and the Taylormade R7 425; none on your list, but it got me to thinking. Like I said, I did have some interest in looking into this simulator further, so I took it a step further as well. I contacted Dancin’ Dogg Golf to get the low down….here’s their reply:

We do not maintain a list of compatible drivers but in general we have found that drivers with a smooth and reflective bottom will yield more accurate results with OptiShot than those with an irregular and non reflective bottom.

I don’t know, all the clubs you listed have different soles, some perfectly smooth and reflective, others painted black (unreflective), others with irregularities from weights. I’d question a bad sensor, talk to their technical support and give them your list. I’d hope they would be more willing to disclose to you (a purchaser) how to remedy the situation or what clubs have proven more successful.

Shoot me an Email with the good ones.

Question
I’m getting a new driver today and need a quick answer. I decided on getting either the Nike SQ Dymo Str8 fit driver or the Taylormade 09 Burner. I want to know which would be better. im turning 14 and i am in 8th grade golf with a pretty good swing. if any other drivers recommended please say.
Answered by glfer212
im assuming you have budget thats why your going with this two clubs. I personally dont like either, the dymo has a small face and the burner is old tech you can get better for your money. I would say go to your local golf place and grab some of the preowned clubs and try thos out. You can get a current model for simalar price of these two drivers. If i had to chose between these two tho the burner bigger face more forgiving
Answered by Robert
i didn’t like the r9 but the r11 was wow. as to nike i don’t even look at them, i mainly stay with taylormade, callaway, ping
Answered by Rian W
Between the 2 clubs I prefer the Burner. It has a lighter shaft and a hotter face.
If you are looking new though the 2010 Burner Superfast is around the same price.
Question
I recently bought a TaylorMade SuperQuad Driver 10.5 and it’s good but after you hit about 10-20 golf balls both of the back weights (12g) start getting loose and if you tighten the screws and hit another 10-20 balls it get’s loose again and if you tap the driver on the ground it makes a jingling noise. It’s great for Chirstmas time but it’s really annoying.

Anyone else have this problem?

Answered by Will
I can’t help you here. I don’t own a TaylorMade Driver.
Answered by Jake
I don’t think that that is normal. I don’t own a Superquad, however I am going to be buying a Burner or a Superquad. You should get it checked out at a golf store. It may be a swingweight inside of the club that has came loose.

Also try e-mailing or contacting Taylormade, I am sure that they will have a solution for you.

Answered by brenda st
if you are using the wrench that came with it make sure you go to 3 clicks if not get one

and look it over carefully it might be a knockoff from china some even say taylormade superquad but paint job is a little off

Answered by Golfguy1ar
The wrench included is a torque wrench, when it “clicks” the weights are tight. It will feel like you almost strip the weights but that is the correct way.

  1. Big Buddy says:

I think the stiff flex may be a bit too stiff for you – you should consider the regular flex – that driver sounds like it is a couple years behind all of the technology that is available now – Taylor Made makes great clubs but try to get something that has been produced within the last 2-3 years to take advantage of all of the technology that has crept into golf as of late – good luck
