Taylormade Burner 2.0 Individual Irons The TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons consists of irons individually engineered, resulting in the enhancement of multiple club properties that promote distance, uniform distance-gaps, increased playability and better sound and feel. A multi-functional sole lowers the center of gravity and reduces turf-drag to make it easy to launch shots high and long, while the inverted cone in each clubface is strategically sized and shaped center of gravity location in each head is precision-placed to optimize long-, middle- and short-iron flight; high-coefficient of restitution faces promote fast ball speed for long distance in the long-irons. Question
are taylormade 2.0 burner irons knock offs worth $ 150
Answered by Joe
Considering that they are over $ 700 retail for the real thing, then $ 150 is not bad at all. Might not be exactly the same, but you don’t have to pay a lot for golf clubs. As long as the clubs are of acceptable quality, they will be as good for you as any other clubs. I am assuming that these are new?
Answered by green_lantern66
As long as you’re buying from a reputable source. I tested the Burner 2.0 driver v. Diamond Tour Golf’s Turner True Speed Ablaze and other than sound, it plays the same (it’s loud, like the old NIke Sasquatch).

I’ve had much success with Diamond Tour Golf and Pinemeadow, and have heard good things about GigaGolf. Some of the stuff going around Ebay… I don’t know…

Just remember: physics doesn’t change because of a name on the sole. If you have two similar clubs and both have the same loft, weight and offset- they’ll perform the same.

Taylormade has been a leader in the club making industry for years and they have always specialized in drivers. The Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 is one of their new creations with a slightly larger club face and it is a bit lighter as well.
Question
I want to purchase TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons for my father as his birthday gift. How about store of onlinegolf18.com?
Answered by Sandy
This store is good, and burner 2.0 irons are also good.

Every individual Burner 2.0 iron boasts a different face thickness. The thinnest and fastest faces are in the long-irons, with the face in each successive iron growing thicker down through the middle- and short-irons. The thinner face, the higher the COR to promote more ball speed and distance; the thicker the face, the greater the feel.

Burner 2.0 long-irons combine an ultra-thin clubface for higher COR (1.8 mm in the 4-iron) with higher MOI. Relief at the rear of the sole allows the sole to play narrower. All of the above promotes more distance in the Burner 2.0 long-irons while making them significantly easier to hit and more playable.

Question
I want to know what is the best driver i should buy with proof the best hybrid i should buy with proof the best set of irons with proof and the best putter with proof plz i am trying to decide which clubs i should buy and it is very difficult i have seen the taylormade r11 and burner 2.0 and the callaway razr hawk the taylormade burner 2.0 irons and the callaway razr x irons as well as others but i don’t know what clubs are the best

I am looking for alot of forgiveness but really long hits also

Answered by TheAceofClubs
Is 6 wins at the World Long Drive Contest enough proof?
The Bang-O-matic driver is the one http://www.theaceofclubs.com/bangomatic_driver.html
The matching fairway woods and hybrids are also tough to beat since the woods are titanium construction and the hybrids are constructed of maraging steel. I have not yet found any clubs yet on the market that can hold up to these.
As for the irons? well the jury is still out. All I ca say is that Golf Digest Magazine voted the Acer XK Irons as the “best valued” irons http://www.theaceofclubs.com/xk_irons.html

I’d look at buying Taylormade over all. :)
Answered by J P
The only answer to this question is. Whatever clubs you hit best. I would recommend you going to your sporting goods store and trying out different clubs. Most have simulators, or at least a hitting net for you to try them out on.

Don’t listen to anyone that tells you to buy this brand or that brand. Just because they are the right club for them doesn’t make them right for you.

Answered by Eddie Law
There is no due answers.Everyone got best clubs in their mind.
But i just know Taylormade r11 and burner 2.0 are the hot sellers on the market. There must be a reason for the hot sell, maybe the reason is that they are best.
Answered by Don Gauley
without a doubt
taylormade r11
Question
I am just the average golfer, but love the game more than anything. I am currently in college, and will graduate in a year or so. I plan on becoming more aggressive with making my golf game better soon when I have more time. I am looking into a new set of irons, but have a question about blades versus cavity back irons. I know that cavity backs are a lot more forgiving, but blades are your better irons for consistency and so on. For an average golfer looking to get better, which irons would you advise someone to use that is looking to get better? My handicap is between a 16-18, but I will be working to bring that down with lots of more practice. Any advise on irons? (For the blades I am looking at the Nike VR Pro Blades, and for cavity backs I am looking at the Taylormade Burner 2.0 Irons)
Answered by Robert
Technology has made the blade easier to hit, so go try them out. I personally will stick with cavity, and I can move the ball left to right or right to left.
Answered by green_lantern66
Honestly, use whichever you choose. It is true the CB is more forgiving, but only by so much. The cavity itself doesn’t make it forgiving… there’s other parameters to consider. Topline and sole thickness, the amount of offset and blade length are all specifications that effect how forgiving a club is. In all cases, more = forgiveness, less = not so forgiving.

Now, if you took a blade and CB, each of the same loft, same shaft and grip, same flex, same swing weight (how heavy the head feels) and same total weight they will perform EXACTLY THE SAME on solid, centered contact. Loft and swingspeed determine distance (irons are 1/2″ shorter in descending order because it ensures the swing weight of each club is the same… that’s it) while face angle and swing path determines accuracy (lie angle becomes important as the club gets shorter).

Irons all take the same basic shape. It’s a function of what the consumer wants, because the “odd” shaped iron heads don’t sell. That means there’s really very little “wiggle room”. Yes, you can make the blade longer and/or thicker, but overdo it and people are turned off by it. You can have a hollowed out area behind the face (like the last Big Bertha’s), but based on personal testing that does NOTHING, similar to Taylormade’s “inverted cone” stuff… it’s just not big enough, due to restrictions, to have an impact.

Where am I going with this? You can buy whatever you d@mn well please, so long as you’re properly fitted. A proper fitting will help you make better, more centered contact. Instead of fighting the clubs, they’ll make your natural movements easier. No, it’s not a cure-all, but you’ll be in a better position more often than not to make a solid strike at the ball.

PS- don’t buy the “blades feel better” BS. Less than 5% of ALL the golfing population, whether it’s the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, Hooters, or whatever tours, me, you and all the other amateurs, can tell a difference in a blind test. Sure, if someone knows going in that a blade is made of 1020 carbon steel, they’re going to think they’re feeling how soft it is. Don’t tell them and they can’t tell the difference between 1020 or 8620 (carbon steels), 431, 17-4 (what most Ping irons are cast from), or 304 stainless steels. Plain and simple. Besides, there isn’t a “magic” metal- that has nothing to do with it.

here is an answer i gave to a similar question about a month ago

“There are 2 basic types of irons: Game Improvement Irons (Cavity Backs) and Blades. Cavity back irons are very forgiving and help players to hit the ball in the air and straight. Blade irons are what most professional golfers use, blades usually have smaller heads and are less forgiving/harder to hit, but their advantage is that they give more feedback and give more shot shaping ability (high and low shots, fades and draws).

Me personally, i have had the same irons, cavity backs, for the last 5 years, and during this period my handicap has dropped from 15 to 4. But i don’t think im ready to make the switch to blades just yet. However, my advice is that you test of a few sets of cavity back vs blade irons. If you can control the ball with blade irons then get them.”

Answered by iknow
At a 16 handicap, you probably wont bring that down enough to play blade irons. However, if you think you can get down to a 5-8 handicap, look for a split/half cavity. Callaway x-forged razr irons, Nike
Pro Combo, and Mizuno mp-53 are all very good. When you get a set, get fit though. There’s no reason to play a good irons if they dont fit you.
Question
im 14 years old, have played for about 2 years ansd shoot anywhere in the 90′s on a local par 73 course. im 5’9″, what flex? and all i need is irons. I really prefer taylormade. should i go for the 2.0 burner irons, or go for something more like burner plus irons? whats best for my playing ability? ive been playing with crappy ram memorial clubs(nightmare). thanks.
Answered by John B
Go with the burner plus irons.
Answered by BOBCAT
Go to a golf pro shop and try everything they have, it will let you know what you like and dislike. Plus you see what you hit best. Buying clubs is a serious issue and going by brand is a poor choice. Try many clubs out that way you can determine what feels right for your game.
Answered by Jason Spruce
Both sets are nice but Something is the best when it suits you.
Maybe you need to try and find which one is better for you.
Best wishes
Answered by Henry J. ellis
find a pro shop, try some kind of clubs. Maybe you will get some idea.
Here for your reference.
Answered by Sergio Amoswer
you should probably go with the burner plus irons with a regular flex
