Question
Taylormade T.P.A. VI is ingraved on the putter face
Answered by wbaker777
Well it predates 1997. thats the last year that there is anything on Taylormades site
Answered by bigman42718
if it has site lines on it that are two different colors, and maybe a flat fronted feep pistol grip then it is more than likely a mid to late 80′s model. in 87 or 88 somewhere in that period, taylormade had series of putters that had flat, upright and standard lies available. i think nick faldo putted with one of them to win the masters. wilson later took over this series of putters. and they had roman numerals but where the same putters as taylor made were producing. the just said wilson staff on them. hale irwin used a wilson staff model in his last us open win in the early 90′s. so that would make your putter in the neighborhood of twenty years old.
Question
I know putters are really depend on the person
but i want to heard about other peoples opinions of these putters

I think Scotty Cameron is superior in balance and feel. Once you put a putter in your hand you can just feel the weight and look down at it to see its top line. Nothing putts better, feels better or is more beautiful than a Classic style Cameron. Do your research this man knows putters.
Answered by E Z
if they were both blade putters I would tell you to get the cheapest, cuz IMO putting isnt really influenced by the type of putter but by the putty :D (puttee)

although the taylorMade putter is a big putter and i hate those bc you have no soft touch IMO, for me i put alot of overspin on putts so those putters wouldtn be good for me

get the titleist

What clubs should i buy? Callaway irons? Taylormade Irons? Nike Putter? Scotty Cameron Putter?
Question
Answered by ~D.P.~
None of us can tell you which clubs to buy. You’ll need to test them out before you buy them. However, we can reccomend you what clubs are good. Callaway and TaylorMade both have some very nice irons, along with ping, adams (high handicap), and titleist. Just go try different brands out at your golf shop and they can really help you out too. We don’t know your handicap so we can’t really recommend you any particular models. As for putters it is based on all feel. I bought a $ 60 dollar odyssey putter over a $ 320 scotty cameron because of feel. I suggest you look at scotty cameron and odyssey, those 2 brands have some amazing putters. Good luck.

Buy the Taylormade irons and Scotty Cameron putter and make sure you have them custom fitted.
Answered by dougous
You may choose TM r9 Irons and Scotty cameron newport 2 putter. last week I bought these 2 sets from ordergolfonline.com. I think it’s nice to play.
Answered by William
My friend, you are going to spend around $ 950.00-$ 1200.00 on the irons and putter if you go for the top end on both. I would have them fitted to your swing, etc by the pro and factory rep. This can be done either during Factory Demo Day at your Country Club or a Country Club you know is having a Demo. Day. By doing the club fitting in this manner you will be assured of a fit that is right for you and you should get more yardage for your buck. Also, if yardage is a factor, perhaps rangefinders could be a solution. Bakerman-20 might just help you with another problem!

Question
i have an standard odyssey mallet putter and i love it to death but getting real scuffy actually got at a pawn shop…. anyways do you think its a good puuter im thinking about the lambeau
Answered by Jow
Taylormade Rossa putters are crap. A week after having it, you would have wished you spent $ 109.96 on fried wangs than that piece of junk.

Odyssey White Hot tour putters. The #9 is the best.

Answered by green_lantern66
Putters are the most fickle piece of golf equipment, in regards to recommendations. Taylormade does make good putters, but so does Odyssey, Nike and every other brand out there.

There are two ways of looking at this:

1. Do you REALLY need a new putter, just because it’s scuffy? Has it been good to you? Do you like how it feels; do you find the sweetspot easily; does it just feel “right”? If so, maybe a new putter isn’t for you.

2. If you’re dead-set on getting a new putter (not here to judge), go to a golf-specific store and try as many as you can. Don’t forget to get fitted- not everyone is the “standard” 35″ that many putters are off the rack. Don’t settle- if you find something that is just perfect for you- try saving up for it if you have to. Putting is only roughly 20-25% equipment (the rest is technique and mental), but having your perfect putter can do wonders for your confidence.

I would recommend Odyssey XG, but I think TaylorMade has a better set of putters with the Rossa series.

Scotty Cameron
Answered by airwalkinrootbeer
I’d go with the Odyssey 2 ball putter, that thing is godly from 15 feet and in.
Answered by cmacjr23
There are several good putters on the market right now. Nike, Odyssey, and Scotty Cameron are some of the best out now.

Nike Golf Unitized Techno OS Mallet Putter
Odyssey 2-Ball SRT White Steel Putter
Odyssey White Hot XG Putter Rossie

Those are a few goods ones right now, definitely shop around

It’s not the putter it’s the puttee. You need to try as many as you can on a real green not the mat in the golf shop. I have one putter, I know people that have 15- 20 they are not good putters. Putting is an art form, you have to be very disciplined.

  2. pinoy-ako says:

I would say the Taylor Made has a better Putter like the Rossa. I’m been using the Odyssey 2 Ball for 2 yrs now and not planning to replace it. The Scotty Cameron is too much expensive but if you have $ 300 to spare go get it. Good Luck!

  3. googie says:

Hot Shot Golfer? Putting is an art which starts with confidence, Confidence is not a brand name but a result of “feel” that a club has when it is used. Some can putt with a broom stick and be proficient. My suggestion is to visit a golf shop which offers many putters of all sizes and descriptions . Try all of them. You will find one which has the right weight, the comfortable grip and gives you that “feel” of confidence.
