What size golf clubs should I play with if I am 6’4? Irons/Drivers/putter. In the stores they seem very small?
Question
This is for a male -
Answered by Smitty
Well, Mary…
If you’re a woman & been trying “ladies” golf clubs,
I have 2 suggestions:
1. Try a “mens” club. They’re 1 to 1-1/2 inches longer than “ladies” clubs.
2. Have a pro-shop FIT you to a custom built set of clubs.
Answered by TanTom
Unfortunately, being 6’4″ tall puts you in a special category where you need special clubs. Off the shelf doesn’t work for you with golf clubs but then again you know this already now don’t you?
Answered by Jason G
2 things. You can go to the Nike Golf website and do their custom fitting system or you can go to your local pro shop and have it done. I would really consider this being that you’re 6’4″. Obviously the one online would be free, but if you cannot figure it out, you may want to have someone do it for you. I’ve looked at it and it seems fairly simple. I’m 5’7″ so it wasn’t a necessity for me to do. I can buy off the rack. One of the pro shops where I live charges 50 bucks to do it which isn’t overly expensive, but I don’t know about where you live. It couldn’t be too much of a difference.
Answered by Simone
The length of the shafts in your clubs is dependent on the length of your arms and your height. At the pro shop they have a ruler that measures the distance from the crease of your wrist to the floor, and shows what your shaft length should be. Just because you are taller than average does not mean that your shafts should be longer. It depends on your arm length also. So go get measured, it take about a half minute. All shafts can be lengthened or shortened a few inches. Also, get your grip size checked, you may need larger diameter grips. If your clubs are altered for length, they will need new grips, so you might as well get that done at the same time.

A lot of the scottys on ebay are fake, but you will still pay premium prices because the buyers are unaware of this. I suggest just buying an odyssey or another good yet cheaper brand.

You came to the right place. Just watch YA golf section for the questions about super low prices on websites. Those sites are all counterfeits!

If the clubs are the right size for you, it’s a great deal. I can’t comment on their quality. Judge that for yourself.
Answered by splashman61
Spaulding Executives are pretty outdated clubs. Been around about 25 years now. When new, they ised to cost around $ 300 with the woods. However, if your just starting out in the sport and don’t want to invest too much, it isn’t a bad set of irons to learn with…….
Answered by XUSAAAgent
At $ 20, who cares. Worse case you got some rock crushers to smacks stuff into the woods.
Answered by crazyhumans
They are beginner clubs or standard clubs. If you are starting out or just playing for fun, yes, it is a good deal.
Answered by Sean J
No matter what brand they are, 20 bucks is a good price for a basic iron set and a putter. Even used clubs are usually at least 10 bucks each. Just make sure they are the right gender, right for you hand(right-handed or lefty) and not falling apart.
Question

  1. Golfer's Choice Custom Clubs says:

The two measurements that go into determining how long a club will be are the height of the golfer and the floor to wrist height of the dominant hand. Even if the person in question is tall, there is a strong chance that they will have standard to slightly over-sized clubs, but only by a small amount. If you are looking for a set of clubs or just some definitive numbers, e-mail me with the floor to wrist length as well and i can tell you exactly how long they should be. you can also go directly to my website if you would like.
