I have a tendency to slice the ball, Ive had it all my life and since Im older I probably wont change so:
What do you suggest would be the best driver to buy to if not eliminate, at least reduce my slice? I only have it with my driver, no other club.

Alot of clubs are making “draw” versions now that are weighted to help correct a slice. The Taylor r7 draw seems pretty popular and would be a good one to check out. It’s impossible to know what the “best” driver for you is without seeing your swing. I would recommend going to a good golf shop that has a hitting area so you can test a few out and get some advice from them.

Try one of the new “draw” drivers that have like a 4 degree closed face. Cobras and the original Taylor Burner are closed up pretty good. Or if you want to spend more get a Taylor R7 and adjust the weights to promote a draw.

Ya the new draw drivers would definitely help you. If money isnt a concern, I would say the Taylormade Superquad. If money is a concern, maybe the Cobra Speed series, or Titleist 905T. That club LOVES to go left, trust me. I dumped that thing the second I got it once I order it. Go to a golf shop and have them set you up on the launch monitor. Whichever club gives you the least amount of side spin, and the best launch angle is going to be the best for you. That is the only way to tell for sure.

Dale isn’t the best driver at anything, anywhere, ever. Not the best restrictor plate driver, not the best short track driver, not the best at anything. He’d be lucky to be considered mediocre at best. To be the best you have to run well and win races. Earnhardt hasn’t done that in many years.

No offense but in my opinion Dale Jr. isn’t that great of a driver. I mean he’s not terrible but without his dad he wouldn’t be as good because he wouldn’t be at Hendrick. He has his fans and his car because of his dad and We all know it. To answer your question, no he isn’t the best ever at anything.

Historically Dale Jr is not even close to being the best driver at Phoenix. The stats speak for themselves and they say Jimmie Johnson is the best driver in PIR history. He has a avg finish of 4.9 with 4 wins. Dale Jr ranks around 20th. Here are the stats for all current drivers at PIR:

I’m using windows 7 Pro and have the same graphics card and have stuck with driver version 8.16.11.9107. The latest one also caused problems for me.

Ok. I am a huge Hendricks fan, i like all the Hendricks drivers, but i have to say i am not happy with his performance. Hardly any wins in the past 2 seasons, DNFs, poor finishes. Compared to his teammates, (i know Gordon has not been so well either), but at least Gordon has come close several times last season and had good finishes, so did martin, even won a couple races. Johnson, i dont think needs to be said. (5 championships in a row)
Bottom line is, I think JR really needs to pick up the pace for being on a great team like Hendricks.
I guess he was good enough for a top 10
