Question
I have a callaway x460 driver mizuno 33s 3-p a 52 and 60 degree cleveland wedge cg12 and cg10 and baby ben putter..also just quickly how much do you guys think i can get for them? I just need to know if these sell better as a package or individually
Answered by Golfer at WTC
I would say stick them on ebay individually they will sell quicker and you will get more money that way i reckon!

It would be better to sell them individually if you wanted to make more money. Most people don’t buy whole sets like that, if they do, they usually buy a cheap full set. Imagine you only needed wedges. If you sold them as a package, they wouldn’t buy the package. Overall, i think you would make more money if you sold them individually.
Question
Also are there any clubs that feel better than Mizuno MP37?
Answered by Philosopher MS
You should try the Grafolloy Pro Lite 35. It will lower your ball flight and if you get stiff it is rated for swing speeds between 105-115mph. Try the Callaway X-Forged Irons. I know that they are Callaway, but they are really solid and they feel great. I tested them against the Nike blades and the MP37 and I felt like they were the best for my game, and I have similar launch conditions: 103mph, 15 degree launch angle.
Answered by Big Buddy
your launch angle is perfect – it should be between 16 and 18 degrees – what is your spin rate? what is your ball speed? you will be a solid stiff shaft for sure – if you can spend the cash, go with the epic shaft – the playability of graphite with the consistency of steel
Answered by wbaker777
well you have two of the components of analysis that you need to make your decision. You will also need to get Spin Rate and ball speed. Then just match the acquired data to a shaft spec.

Feel is personal…….If you like the feel of the MP 37 then stick with it….otherwise hit several different brands on the launch monitor…..don’t go by feel alone……look at the data……it will never lie.

Question
My tee shots are to high. My best ball flight seems to come from a Cleveland Launcher 400 thats about 5yrs old. I have used Taylor made,Mizuno, etc. all go to high Can you suggest something.
Answered by jefflawdog
You need to go to a Golf store with a computer swing checking set up and they will look at your impact angle and ball flight and get you set up right. You want to achieve the appropriate balance between flight and roll, not to high, not too low. Shaft and club head degree will both make a big difference and only by actually checking your swing will you know what one is right.

My golf buddy have the same problem, he went to Golf Galxy and tried different driver in there launch monitor. He just picked up a Ping G10 Driver with stiff shaft. I suggest do the same also go to golf shop and try different driver and see which best suited for you. Good Luck!

mate i have the answer of all answers for you, go to www.cobragolf.com and look at the cobra speed L4V X driver, it comes with a 9′ loft which will hit the ball further and lower, plus it not too badly priced at £230 sterling, another thing…i know youve probably tried this but try adjusting the ball at address roughly halfway between your left ankle (if ur a right handed player) and your centre stance
Answered by dlanceiv
Ok, first off, ignore all the people the recommended a particular club. They have no idea how you swing or hit. I also recommend not going to a Store with a launch monitor. Go to a driving range that has a real flight monitor (for example look for a range with a Trackman system- it monitors the actual flight of the ball, not just the spin of it off the face of the club) Now, for how you should be looking to set the club up- Look for a High kick shaft, this throws the ball out more instead of up. Obviously look for a lower loft (note that even though one club may say 10* and another says 9*, different brands will preform differently and can only be compared to the same brand) The Ball you play can also impact the trajectory as well as it’s position in your stance.

On a side note, using that old club might not necessarily be a bad thing. I had the same issue as you and ended up buying a 5 yr old cobra 7.5*, high kick, x-stiff, 400cc tour face driver and have not found a club in the last 3 years that can out drive it. So don’t go looking for a newer club to do the same thing. Only buy if you are gaining something (accuracy or distance). Good luck.

Chances are, it’s not the clubhead. Sure, loft has a lot to do with it (you wouldn’t want anything over 9.5 nowadays), but finding a shaft that’s right for your swing can make a world of difference. I would recommend the Grafalloy Pro-Launch Red if a flatter trajectory is your ultimate goal.

I would also recommend going to a golf shop where you can be put on a launch monitor to determine clubhead speed, ball speed, and rpm (spin). But be careful – do NOT go to a big box or indoor store for this. You want to go somewhere where you can hit balls outdoors so you can not only get results on a machine, but you can see the results for yourself (actual ball flight).

You’d be amazed what can come up on any old launch monitor indoors when you can’t actually see the ball flight after you’ve hit the ball. Those companies will do whatever it takes to do what…? …sell golf equipment!

I believe the HiBore is available w/ a Grafalloy Pro-Launch Red in the XL, XL Tour (which is what I use), XLS, & XLS Tour. And trust me, I’ve used the Launcher & the HiBore Tour XL, with similar specs, and I hit the XL Tour about 15 yds longer and much straighter. Again, the XL is 2 degrees open, which helps me a great deal. Try some demos out at the range, along w/ your Launcher, and see what happens.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other ?’s, please visit my horrible website and click on “contact us” to ask any golf related ?’s. Thx!
