Yikes! Taylormade clubs are excellent and well designed. If the crack formed in the face, I am thinking this just might be one of terrible Chinese made knockoffs.

You have to be very careful when you see claims like this. These idiots complain that their clubs are cracked but then they are absolutely terrible golfers who hit the ball everywhere on the club except for the center of the clubface. Taylormade makes good equipment so don’t let these idiots deter you.

99.999% chance that it’s a fake.
Personally I use the R7′s and my dad uses the R9′s and we’ve never had anything go wrong with the clubs. Taylormade makes quality gear so if it breaks like that it’s a knock off or they did something stupid like hit a heavy rock instead of a golf ball.

I am buying a new fairway wood soon and i’m just wondering between the taylormade r11, taylormade r11 titanium and the taylormade burner superfast 2.0. Any advice?

go to a store where you can hit the club before you buy it to make sure you like it.
Also see if they let you bring in your old club to compare and see if there really is any difference or not

I would try to go to somewhere like a golf shop where you can try them out first. But from personal experience, the Burner Superfast 2.0 is the best. It is easy to hit and a litte lighter than the others.

do not get the R11 that thing sucks. i my self tryed almost every 3 wood there is and went with the 2.0 tp with a motore f3 80g x flex but there are alot better heads than these two. some of the best are the tour edge cb3 and 4 or the 2.0 but the R11 is trash man. dont do it
