The new F2 SS 60 lob wedge is traditional at address but has the F2 technological advantage built-in. You’ll hit higher, softer and more accurate shots from around the greenside bunkers, fairway or rough letting you play your best. Introducing the next revolution in wedge design! Everyone knows that improving your short game is the quickest way to lowering your scores. But in the coming years wedges are going to be getting harder to hit, not easier, due to rule changes instituted by the USGA. However, there is one new wedge design that is making hitting wedge shots easier and more fun than ever. You can hit any kind of wedge shot effortlessly and easy without changing a single thing in your swing. The incredible shank proof F2 SS wedge offers golfers of all skill level a new option that reduces drag through rough and sand by moving the hosel out of the way at impact. The revolutionary new dog leg hosel design is different looking than any wedge on the market at first glance but when you set up to it it is just a great looking, traditional wedge.

Question
Answered by Golf King
you usually get one with a set of irons?
but you could get a titleist, callaway, nike wedge used for a very low price and it would still look “as new”
Answered by John F
We don’t know what your budget is, so it’s hard to answer that question.

Most good wedges – Cleveland, Titleist Vokey, etc. – are in the range of $ 99 to $ 119. Is that within you budget?

Answered by chimpotle
Golfsmith has cleveland wedges on sale for $ 69 a piece right now.
Answered by David E
If you’re looking for a good club, that is not going to break the budget. Adams makes a good set of wedges, it’s their Tom Watson model and they sell for like $ 40 a piece, and I think you can get the set of three for about $ 100. It’s no Cleveland or Titleist, but it’s a solid club. I had an older version of these about three or four years ago, and they were great, I recently upgrated to Cleveland CG12s.
You wont get much of a choice of lofts and bounce, they have three models (52/7, 56/12, 60/7) but at this price, they are not targeting the type of player who is looking for very specific loft and bounce combinations. For the weekend golfer, these will do.

The pitching wedge usually comes as part of the full iron set one purchases. This gives one consistency in shaft whippiness, the ” feel” of the club as related to the rest of the set, and leads to confidence when using the club. If you purchase a single club, make sure that you can feel the head of the club as you swing. I have never purchased either a set of irons or woods that didn’t feel right to the touch. The feel of the head had to be pronounced when wiggling the club with a firm grip.
Question

g’day mate, well i think there is no real clear cut answer to that, what i would suggest you do is go to your golf club, ask to try a few diff p/wedges, go out and spend some time practicing with them, and choose for yourself, some have thicker bottom edges, some thinner, all depends how you hit your wedges.

personally i like a thinner blade, bit harder to find now, but i like to get under the ball and throw it up, as every one does with a p/wedges, i just find the club head doesn’t bounce of the surface, causing a ‘thinned it’ shot.
where the ball flies off low and fast, making you look like an idiot.

hope of been of some help to you mate, golf is a gr8 game, we love it here in Australia, i can play 12 months a year where i live, so I’m very lucky, on a peter Thomson(5 time British open winner, Aussie boy) course. $ 400 a year.

good luck with your golf, don’t listen to many people with handicap over 4-5. cheers mate.

Pro V1 is softer so it will spin more

Address the ball (right term?) right at the middle or further back.

Just answered simular question

Any good three piece ball will spin….if you have a decent lie, play the ball a bit back in your stance…play a bit more of a vertical swing, descending at a steeper angle towards the ball. Accelerate always! De-cell will cause a fatty shot going nowhere. You are trying to compress the ball between the ground and the club face and NOT try to pick it or sweep it off the top of the turf surface. You must hit the ball first, compressing the ball causing it to walk up the club face thus causing backspin. It is only after the ball is off and flying to you then start to hit turf and peeling a divot.
Because this is a difficult shot, if your lie is in fairway and you have a clear shot up to the green…you may try a bump and run shot instead, using the same 8 iron from within 100 yrds and in. Much easier shot to pull off….

Question

Pro V ball..soft core
Open your club face up.
Answered by Brandon
the best way to back spin is to really acelurate through the ball and keep the face open to the target as long as possible. Same with wedges.

Question
i just recently started taking golf seriously this year by joining my golf team. Since i have an old off brand set of golf clubs, ive been wanting a new set. But ive been hitting my pitching wedge 150 yards, so i really dont need new clubs since my yardages are so high. but what i do need is new wedges. in your opinion, what are the best wedges available today? for a reasonable price. and do you know of any good websites to get that wedge at a big discount?
Answered by Joey D
There are a lot of good wedges on the market, but you really need to hit them to find out which works best for you. The best place I have found to purchase is www.wowogolf.com. Check it out

Bob Vokey design Titleist wedges are revered by golfers all around the world for their craftmanship as well as their overall playability.

I currently own two of the spin milled versions (54 and 60 degree). I can attest to both their quality and their superb workability around the green (both in bunkers and out).

They are quality clubs that will surely last me for a good long while.

But, they do come at a price. They’re around $ 120 a piece. You can grab them at clickandsavegolf.com for about $ 105 which includes shipping (at least the prices did when I ordered my Cobra irons).

Good luck.

I’ve also heard good reviews about Cleveland brand wedges as well so you may want to check those out. They’re comparable pricewise however and that said, I’d choose the Vokeys over the Clevelands.

Answered by Karson
I had vokey wedges and once i needed to replace them i didnt want to spend like 700 bucks for new wedges so i compared my vokeys to some other brands and the one that i found mostly similar was nicklaus. Now i used the nicklaus and they are just as nice as my vokeys and they were about 100 bucks cheaper each!

hope this helps

Answered by Barney
Cleveland Golf are mainly known for their wedges, so you can’t go wrong with Cleveland’s!
I love mine

I came across a wholesale site easybuygolf.com. You can find wedges on that site and the price are pretty good. Go to their customer service, they are very helpful and they will make discount to you.

Titleist Vokey Spin Milled are excellent and Cleveland cg 12 are good as well. All depends on which ones work the best for you and your game.
