These irons are the longest stainless steel irons we have ever created and provide increased distance without compromising feel or performance. The lower, deeper CG makes the sweet spot more accessible and is in-line with where amateurs most commonly strike the ball on the clubface, generating longer consistent distance and improved accuracy.

They are all different from one to another a little bit. Try the brand you want to know and go to their web. Below is Mizuno MP 37. With sand wedge, you can pick yourself from anything like 54-58.

Question
I ordered my boyfriend a 3-iron golf club. Is cleveland a brand of Golf clubs? What is it? I am dim witted when it comes to golf clubs. Thanks!
Answered by vtnewfs
Yes, Cleveland is a well known brand. He probably already has a 3-iron. did you buy a 3 hybrid? I am sure he will like whatever it is you bought him
Answered by yang z
Most likely he already has a 3 iron, I think you meant a 3 hybrid?
If you were to buy anything, I’d go with the brand that’s already in his bag. Every golfer has their own preference, if he’s already got some brands he likes in his bag, i’d stick to them. (Titleist, Taylormade, Cleveland, Ping, Nike, Adams, Callaway, Mizuno, Tour Edge, and Cobra are some of the well-known brand you can buy in the US market).
Answered by Jason G
Probably should have consulted with someone before you bought the club. Yes Cleveland is a brand of golf club. Are you sure he doesn’t have a 3 iron? Most iron sets come 3 iron thru pitching wedge. Did the club you buy have a steel shaft? If not it was a hybrid club. Did it come with a headcover? Hopefully he likes what you bought for him.

Cleveland is a brand. Yes you should probably not ask this – look it up. Get a cell.

Great golf clubs. i play cleveland irons in the top three best. i would say titleist, taylormade, cleveland.
Question
i have 3 wood and 4 iron.and i need to fill in that gap.i hit my 3 wood about 250yd or more and my 4 iron about 205yd or more.i’m thinking about 5 wood or one of the hybrid club, but i don’t know what to get.would you give me a suggestion like what brand should i get and which should i get between hybrid and wood.
Answered by Gerry S
It depends upon the courses you play and what you hit well. I prefer the 5-wood, personally, but that still leaves me a distance gap (actually two – I use a filler club between my 3-iron and 5-wood). But that’s just my preference, because I like woods best and hit my 5-wood as consistently as a comparable hybrid.

Given your question, I’m assuming you don’t play much and don’t take lessons. That being the case, you should stick to a club that’s as close to what you already have as possible. The 5-wood isn’t a bad club, and you might do well using one that’s a mate to your 3-wood. Using a club from the same series allows you to use more consistent mechanics, since it will be similar to the 3-wood in characteristics. However, if you find yourself inconsistent with the 3-wood, you should go try out a few hybrids and find one you like for both fairway and tee shots. Hybrids tend to be more versatile and forgiving.

Answered by green_lantern66
If you’re a slower swinger, go with the wood. The heavier head will help with carry and getting it out of the rough. If you’re a faster swing, and possibly good at working the ball, go with the hybrid (Adams, Nickent, Ping, make good clubs… but there are others). Probably an 18-20 degree model. Or, you could have the best of both worlds and go with something like the Taylormade Raylor or Adams A7- something that’s got the shorter shaft of the iron (for control) and the bigger head, for forgiveness and rough-plowing.
Answered by Sooner Golfer
I would definitely say a 7 wood or 5 wood they are pretty easy to hit depending on how you hit woods. If you chose to get a hybrid for sure get an Adams they are superior in making hybrids. If you get woods I would suggest Taylormade burners or Ping G15′s or G10′s
Answered by John
taylormade r9 5 wood. and hybrid.
Answered by rlvjav
If you hit a 4 iron 205 then a 19 degree hybrid would fill the gap perfectly (about 230 yds). I know because I have one and also hit a 4 iron about 200 – 210.

You already ordered and then you are asking?

Cleveland is a well known quality maker yes. You should buy him a club he wants – golfers get personal about club choice. Make sure you save the receipt just in case and do not be offended if he’d prefer a different brand. He will appreciate the thought.

  2. GC says:

cleveland are a very well known, respected golf brand who make quality clubs. i personally have 3 of theirs, a sand wedge, a lob wedge and a 3 wood.

callaway 2x are overall the best
    spyder has an awesome putter
    cleveland has the best wedges

  4. Jerod R says:

Definitely get the hybrid. 19 degree would probably be fine. It’s alot easier to use than the five wood out of the rough. I hit the ball as far as you and it comes in handy when you need to hit high shots into par 5s.
