Answered by Chase J
I think Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Fairway Wood #5 wood is okay . If you want to purchase one ,here is a good place providing discout golf clubs.http://www.wowogolf.com/goods-58-Callaway+Big+Bertha+Diablo+Fairway+Wood.html

Ok look at this website, it is on ebay and i broke down the search.

http://shop.ebay.com/items/__Callaway-5-wood?Gender=Men&Shaft%2520Material=Graphite&Club%2520Type=Fairway%2520Woods&Flex=Regular&Loft=18&Dexterity=Right%252Dhanded&Condition=New&_dmpt=Golf_Clubs&_fln=1&_ssov=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282

ok i searched “callaway 5 wood”

Then in refine search i put
Gender: Men
Shaft material: Graphite
Clube type: fairway wood
Flex: regular
Loft: 18
Dexterity: Right handed
Condition: new
(maybe you will need to change it)

Hope you find one that you want for a good deal!

Question
I am looking for a 3 & 5 wood for my brother’s Xmas gift. I know nothing about these clubs but everyone on ebay seems to like the Big Bertha Callaway ones, do you think they would be any good for someone who’s been playing golf for 6 months ?
Answered by thefistofdoom
Yes, they are a very high quality brand and the chances are pretty good that he’ll like them. Just keep in mind that there might be no returning something you bought on ebay. Maybe try to find a sneeky way to ask him, or even better yet have someone else do it. Good luck.
Answered by bigair530
I would try to get graphite shafts they are much easier to hit that steel shafts. They give you more distance and lessen the impact when you hit the ball. They are also much lighter which allows for greater club head speed which equals greater distance.

.very good choice with steel shafts. he is to young and strong for graphite. callaway great clubs steel shafts. graphite just average. very poor shafts for high cost club. as far as e bay. the golf section is full of misrepresentation. condition not as described. very slow shipping. often knockoffs are sold as real clubs. try major golf store if available. end of season clear outs. many will be available very very cheap. with warranty. ebay for these items defiantly buyer beware. try golf courses. they also will have sales on. if you are looking used. avoid the steelhead 3 model. with steel shaft all other models will be great. last forever. happy hunting.

Well, it depends on a. what your budget is and b. what type. The new FTI fairways are good but I would recommend the Tour Burner from Taylormade. It has phenomenal distance and accuracy. If your brother is a high handicapper then I woud suggest the Ping G10 woods with a grafite regular flex shaft. You can talk to a local pro on fitting and how to get your bro set up nice.

I have the TourEdge Bazooka hybrid, it has been Golf Digest’s best value for hybrids two-years running. it’s great to hit, and you swing it like an iron and get distances of a wood. I paid about 79.99 for it brand new, I’m sure it’s price has gone down.
