  • Unique Sole Design Creates efficient impact with the face to maximize distance, consistency and accuracy from a variety of turf conditions.
  • VFT Technology Generates high ball speeds across the entire face for hotter, more consistent distance.
  • Offset Hosel Assists in squaring the clubface at impact while providing a look at address that boosts confidence. Tour models have less offset to enhance workability.

The new Diablo Edge Hybrids have been specifically designed to provide golfers a more forgiving, distance enhancing alternative to long irons. The Vertical CG Optimization uses a 30% thinner crown to help lower the center of gravity, and place it in-line where most golfers commonly strike the ball. This promotes shots that will fly far and high and land soft. The unique sole design helps create efficient impact to maximize distance and accuracy. The face utilizes VFT Technology, which generates high ball speeds for hotter, more consistent distance. The offset hosel helps square the clubface at impact while also providing a confidence-inspiring look at address. The Tour models have less offset, giving skilled players the versatility to work the ball more easily.

Question
I am looking at buying one of these clubs, which Big Bertha Heavenwood hybrid is easier to hit from the FAIRWAY and the TEE?
Distances?
I am an average length hitter from the tee.
I am 14, 5’7”, and 130 pounds.
Answered by ixnaytim
Simple. The higher the loft, the easier it will be to hit. Compare your 8i to your 5i. They will be the same off of the tee, but hte 3H will tend to have a little lower launch, higher rate of sidespin, and more roll on the landing. I say, learn to hit the irons. They are more responsive out of the rough, and distance control is easier.
Question
My 2006 callaway ft hybrids are one degree less than their 2008 counterparts. I don’t know if this an improvement.
Answered by green_lantern66
There’d only be a slight distance loss, maybe no more than 3-5 yards on average.

The 5 iron of the FT iron set is 27*, and all the lofts from the 3 iron to the 6 are 3* apart. It just makes sense that the hybrid would be in line with the lofts of the irons, since hybrids (for the most part) are iron replacements.

Answered by no idea?????
1 degree more loft. also more closer to square old ones 2 degree closed. know one half degree closed.
Question
Is the price difference worth it? And is it harder to hit a Razr than a Cobra? Opinions, specs, help, please!
Answered by Allen
Everyone is going to have a opinion and believe their club is right ! I use Tommy Armour hybrids and Irons ! Hit you local proshop and use the different clubs and see whats right for you. And good luck, I’m liking my hybrids !
Answered by SportsDude12
Go for the razr. I’m my opinon, callaway is the easiest club to hit, and definitely the most forgiving.
Question
Hey, I’m 14 and I have a 3h Heavenwood. When I hit this club, it hits very straight but either goes very low or curves downards or upwards. I can hit a 3 iron just fine. Im wondering if maybe the shaft flex has something to do with it. My 3 iron is also a callaway, big bertha ’06 to be specific. The heavenwood has a ‘regular’ flex, while my iron has a ‘light/senior’ flex. I am wondering if replacing the hybrids shaft with a lighter flex would help my problem out.
Answered by googie
If you are not sure what is causing the problem, don’t guess and don’t change shafts especially when you are 14. Get the opinion of a golf professional as to the cause and possible solution.
Answered by wbaker777
It sounds more like a swing mechanics problem than a shaft flex problem. See a teaching pro and get the swing corrected.
Answered by Eldonado
I play Heavenwoods, and they DO have a slightly lower trajectory. Some consider it a fault; some a “feature.” I like it and account for it in my swing.

Their later hybrid models actually address this, and feature higher trajectories.

Answered by salmonbellies16
the shaft is to long for a fourteen year old. grip down one inch , move ball back in stance . hit down and through . hybirds are played as a iron , not a wood . you will be fine . with more spending money
