Question
pings are probably the best option but i want to know which one is the best
Answered by La Bong *GO* *SAINTS*
You should ask Elin Woods, I heard she’s pretty good with the clubs.
Answered by green_lantern66
Ping makes good everything- also check out Adams (#1 on Tour and I believe sales, as well), Nickent (they’re apparently going out of business, could pick one up for a steal soon). I’ve heard good things about the Callaway Diablo. Some people like Nike’s SQ hybrids.

Pay attention to the design of the hybrid, though, and ask yourself what you want it to do. If You want it for a 3 iron replacement (the common idea), look for one with a smaller head- like an Adams Idea Pro, for example. If you want it more for a 5 wood replacement, look for one with a larger head, like the Taylormade Raylor or the Adams Idea A3/A7.

best hybrid golf Club Summary :
Adams IDEA a3 Boxer The latest and hottest hybrid golf club technology on the market

Callaway FT Hybrid A solid performer with a great look building on Callaway FT technology.

Adams IDEA Pro A ultra-professional looking and performing club.

Cleveland HiBORE XLS A sure hit among golfers which will lead to lower scores.
Callaway Heavenwood One of the top three clubs for the traditional high handicapper.

Question
I would love a couple suggestions, price isn’t a problem, I am more looking for the straightest hybrid(s) out there. I am a high handicapper, and dont need a major distance club. The more forgiving, the better. Just a couple ive thought about are the 2011 taylormade rescue, the adams idea v3, Titleist 910H, Nike VR Pro, and the ping g15. I would really love some advice!!!
Answered by ~D.P.~
I think that Adams makes some of the most forgiving golf clubs. Their hybrids feel great, and if you are a high handicapper like you are they are easy to hit. Big sweet spot with awesome feel. Several of my friends use Adams hybrids and keep telling me how forgiving they are. Good luck finding a hybrid, and if you have any more questions feel free to send me a message.
Answered by Chris Johnson
Adams makes very good hybrid clubs for all handicap levels. I would also try the Callaway razr hybrids as well. Their clubs in general are great but this hybrid from them is exceptional.
Answered by Mike
The shaft is the most important aspect of a golf club. A properly fitted shaft will change your game.
Answered by D Rebs
From you list, I would say the Adams v3 or the Ping G15 would be the best. The Titleist 910H and Nike VR pro are suited to the better player and will not be nearly as forgiving. Most people tend to like Adams and Cobra hybrids the best so if you can’t demo a bunch before buying, I would think the v3 would be your safest bet. The Taylormade should be a little less forgiving that the Adams or Ping, but wouldn’t be bad either. Cleveland also has a new one out called the Mashie which might be worth a look.
Question
want an easy to hit out of rough and off fairways hybrid that will knock a shot or two off my game
Answered by Ryan S
get the nike sq2 hybrid.. i got it and it works great
Answered by mojo13
You will probably never hear this option from anyone else but I just picked up a Precept ECU hybrid off ebay and wow. There aren’t many reviews them on the net but if you got to golfwrx.com and search the forums there are a few people that have written some info on them. Best part is there are people still using these clubs and can’t kick them out of their bag. Put in a shaft of your choice and it’ll beat alot of the other OEM’s for less
Question
Answered by Mizer
I’ve never hit a Cobra hybrid, but I owned the TaylorMade rescue in the #3 & #5 models. I really liked them, but I replaced them when I bought my Adams Idea A2 set of irons which came with hybrids. I hit the Adams a bit better than the TaylorMades.
Answered by ncjaguar5
Depends on what you’re looking for. If you want one to replace an iron (a more solid feel), then I’d say the two best would be the Sonartec HB-001, or the Titleist 585.H (I play it now). Also, both of the above hybrids are less forgiving, so if you are a higher handicap, you might be best suited to look elsewhere. On the other hand, if you’re looking for one more as a replacement for a higher lofted fairway wood (more of a hollow-ish feel) I’d say the TaylorMade Burner or Ping Rapture would be two good bets. In terms of what is better between TaylorMade and Cobra, I’m not a huge fan of either, but probably TaylorMade.
Answered by brenda st
i have a Taylor made that replaces my 5 wood and Adams to replace my 3 and 4 iron

the answer is the one you hit the best

Answered by Steve
Nickent is doing very well on the PGA Tour without endorsement contracts! The players choose to play them because they like them and want to and not because they get payed to play them. That is strong! The TaylorMade hybrids are very nice as well. I’m a club caddie, and I see mostly TaylorMade in the lower handicap players’ bags.
Answered by Jake
Go with the Taylormade. They cut down the prices of the Rescue Dual at golf galaxy. I am going to pick up one for myself.

Check out the link Spartan Golfer sent you. Has alot of great info about the hybrids they reviewed.

FYI……I have 2 Adams Idea A2 hybrids (#3 & #4). Good clubs and I love the sound they make when hit flush.

dont get nike cpr
Answered by toughnottobeacynic
Mike, it’s the one that works best for you. They all have a different look. I would star out with an inexpensive one. Go to Dick’s or a golf store similar and simply set the club down in front of you. If it looks odd to you try another one until you find one that fits your minds eye and you feel you can hit with confidence. You’ll know when you see it. Don’t rely on the sales posters. They all say longer, farther, straighter.

    I agree with Mizer I have the Adams A2 pro series # 2, 3& 4
They are the best I have hit and that is why I have them in my bag. I have tried the Ben Hogans, Taylor Made and Nike Cpr.
Adams in my opinion was by far and away the best.

  2. Hawk says:

any of the top brand club makers are good, if the question is related to which one will help the plasyer the most it would be the one that replaces a 3 iron.
