    Question
I have for the most part a full set of Taylormade clubs and I wanted to keep it that way, but now I am realizing my set may be a bit scattered. My set is:
    -r5 driver
    -r7 3 wood
    -TM Rescue “TP” 3 hybrid
    -Burner XD 4-PW

But here is were I want advice… my wedges. I have a Burner XD Sand wedge, RAC OS2 Lob Wedge, and Tour Burner Gap wedge… three completely different clubs. Should I get rid of all of them and get a nice set of 3 which are all the same type? I was looking at Adams Tom Watson wedges which are only like 100$ , but I am not sure if I would be losing too much money. Does any one know where my wedges stand in compare to performance of other cheaper ones? Any advice?

titliest bob vokey spin milled are hands down the best wedges on the planet.

If the loft of the three clubs is to your liking and not all similar, you should stay with those three clubs, I see no real point in getting new wedges just so they could be the same brand.

To help with your decision to play only Taylormade clubs, look at it from a different standpoint. Let’s assume that you eat 3-4 meals a day. In the morning you eat bacon and eggs. For lunch and dinner, you do the same. You will quickly realize that this sort of diet doesn’t fit your lifestyle. This is where I find the most problems in helping others with choosing their clubs. Many players seem to think that if one works then it all will work. Don’t get me wrong, I love Taylormade, in fact my irons are Taylormade Tour Burners. They worked out best during my club fitting. However, the Nike SQ2 5900 driver worked out better than the r7 or Burner. My Adams hybrid worked out better than the Burner Rescue club. My Cleveland wedges worked out better than the rac’s. If you remember to make your bag work for you and not the other way around you will find yourself with a much better game. You may also save a few dollars.

I feel as though I have answered your question here without actually answering it. Use whatever works for you and not your bag. Your golf game doesn’t care where the clubs came from or whether or not the colors match.

The wedges you have are all perimeter weighted game improvement type clubs that come with sets. They aren’t as functional as the wedges most good players use, like the Vokeys, Cleveland, or Taylormade wedges that are blade style wedges. the thinner sole and groove configuration make these specialty wedges more versitile and perform better. The wedges you have will be better for some players, but those with a good short game will benifit from other wedges, the Adams aren’t that good though, you get what you pay for.
    Question
I am getting rid of my Apple G4 12″ laptop. Used and about 4 years old. I would say about a 7.5 out of 10 and worth about $ 300.00.
I put it on Craigslist to trade for golf clubs and so far I have a few offers. Here are some so far and I would like your advice on which would be my best bang for my buck (well computer)…

    Offer 1:
    Ping i3 (4-pw) irons
    Ping fairway woods (1, 3, 5)
    White hot Odyssy putter
    with cheap bag

    Offer 2:
Adams IDEA irons (3 and 4 are hybrids)
    Wilson deep red driver
    Ping 3 wood
    Square two sand wedge

    Offer 3:
Scotty cameron studio stainless putter with head cover
    Mizuno wedges (50, 56, 58)

    They are all used.
So far these are the only reasonable offers I have received. Let me know what you guys think I should go for if nothing else comes available. (This will be my first set of golf clubs, I am just starting out!)

offer 1 would be the best deal all you would need to get is a good bag and maybe a hybrid or two and maybe a lob wedge they are really good clubs so i would go with them cause you wont get a better deal than this
    Answered by Ben
Money wise, offer 1 is the best deal, but since you are just beginning, i’d consider offer 2, adams are more forgiving and the hybrids are easier to hit then irons, especially your low irons. Offer 3 does have a scotty cameron putter which is a pro putter ( tiger woods uses scotty) I had a scottybut wasn’t me, I have a YES! putter, much better. But the choice is up to you. Offer 1 would be tempting, depending on condition. All brand name clubs, and white hot is an elite putter, but sometime those clubs aren’t as forgiving and can be harder to hit, but the choice is yours.
